Alger House is a very multifunctioning event venue. The very large Great Room sets up in many ways, including small and large dinners, small and large cocktail receptions, presentations, casino evenings, ceremonies, exhibits, interviews, miniconferences and photography shoots. The huge Great Room can feel intimate for a tiny group of just twenty persons, or it can feel spacious for a sit-down dinner for 106 guests, our maximum comfortable size for seating everyone in only half of the room. The width of the Great Room combined with the double ceiling height contribute to an airy spacious feeling. All lighting is dimmable so that at night the addition of candles can be very pleasant. The Great Room is reachable by elevator.
